On 14 October, H.E. Ambassador Wei Huaxiang paid a call on Hon. Anil Jayantha Fernando, Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning of Sri Lanka. They held an in-depth and friendly discussion on various China Aid projects in Sri Lanka, efforts to advance the signing of the China–Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement, investment cooperation, and other related matters. Counsellor Tang Yandi, in charge of economic and commercial affairs, also attended the meeting.
