In view of the current COVID-19 situation, as from today, the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka updates the Requirements on Issuing Green Health Declaration Codes(HDC) as follows:
I. Test Requirement
(i)All passengers (including those with infection history) who are to fly from Sri Lanka to China will only be required to take ONE nucleic acid test within 48 hours before boarding.
(ii)The new requirement also applies to transit passengers from a third country. The airlines which run the flights from Sri Lanka to China will check the valid HDC of the passengers and will not check where they apply the codes. As currently tests are not available in Sri Lankan airports, the transit passengers are strongly advised to apply HDC before coming to Sri Lanka.
(iiiThe nucleic tests in Sri Lanka should be done at the authorized hospitals or laboratories for COVID-19 PCR testing.
II. Method of applying HDC
Sri Lankan and third-country travelers can log in to https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ or scan the QR code below to apply for a health declaration through a computer or mobile phone.
