On October 26, Ambassador Qi Zhenhong, accompanied by Counselor Tang Yandi and others, made a special visit to the construction site of Section 1 of Sri Lanka’s Central Expressway Project. The delegation conducted an on-site inspection across various locations within the project to assess its current status. Ambassador Qi held in-depth discussions with Suriyabandara, Director General of Sri Lanka’s Road Development Authority, and Liu Su, General Representative of the project’s contractor, China Metallurgical Corporation Ltd. (Sri Lanka Branch), regarding the project’s progress and challenges.
